Cajamarca esta ubicada al pie del Cerro Cumbe, es la zona más baja de los Andes y la más erosionada de la cordillera.

Se encuentra a 2,750 msnm,  si clima es benigno y soleado. En la ciudad se pueden apreciar todas als construcciones coloniales que dan un clima muy español. A pocos km de la ciudad se encuentra los Baños termales del Inca.                           Bienvenido  a Cajamarca, una ciudad alegre y festiva que lo espera con una sonrisa.                      Clima: Templado y seco, con una temperatura anual promedio de 17ºC
Ubicación: 856 km al noreste de Lima  y a 2,750 msnm.

Cajamarca is located at the foot of Cerro Cumbe, is the lowest region of the Andes and the most weathered of the range.
It is located 2,750 meters above sea level, if climate is mild and sunny. In the city you can see all als colonial buildings that give a very Spanish atmosphere.                                                                A few km from the city is the thermal Baths of the Inca.   Welcome to Cajamarca, a lively and festive awaits you with a smile.

5 Days / 4 Nights.


First day: Arrival to the city of Cajamarca. Transfer to hotel. Rest for acclimatization. Full day at the facilities of lodging and enjoy the Baths of Inca.Pernocte.

Second Day: Breakfast. City Tour. Plaza de Armas, where the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro captured the Inca Atahualpa. It is one of the most important places in South America. Cathedral built in the seventeenth century and its facade is of volcanic stone. San Francisco Church, built in the eighteenth century, has catacombs. The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows, where we find Christ and his Apostles stone carvings. Santa Polonia, located very close to the Plaza de Armas, from there you can see the whole city in a splendid panoramic view, also can see the remains of altars carved in rock, which are pre-Hispanic times.

Third day: Breakfast. Cumbemayo, is located 20 km southeast of the city. It is an archaeological site considered one of the most remarkable works of hydraulic saw. This consists of three groups: an aqueduct, a sanctuary and several caves with engravings.
Frailotes, near Cumbemayo, there is a forest of stones with different figures, like huge rocks that resemble monks or friars.

Fourth day: Breakfast. Otuzco, located 8.5 km northeast of the city. Necropolis, is characterized by funerals on volcanic rock excavations. Visit to the Windows of Combayo, located 20 km from the city of Cajamarca. Archaeological site with an age of 3.500 years. The archaic cemetery is carved into the rock in the form of cavities, known as the Necropolis of Combayo windows.


Fifth Day: Breakfast. Free day for shopping. Estimated time to transfer to airport. Return to Lima.
